LIFE GOES ON

19 Minutes (2026)

Terminally ill BILL (David Bradley) is in an end of life care Hospice and determined to be miserable about it - after all, he's stuck next to an overly cheerful bedmate, he's visited by a stream of selfish visitors who are only there for themselves and he's having to listen to the incessantly happy "entertainment". He's all but hoping for the sweet release of death. As the day drags on, he has to suffer the indignity of bed baths and an awkward visit from his daughter who insists on making him uncomfortable by telling him she loves him.

When the lights of the Hospice finally go out for the night, Bill slowly slips away, alone and unbothered, just as he'd wanted... but unfortunately for him, he's stuck in an infinite time loop, causing the day to restart the second his heart stops... Cue the same visitors, the same bed mate, the same annoying musician, and even more awkwardness with his daughter...

Starring BAFTA winner David Bradley (Harry Potter, Game of Thrones), BAFTA winner & EMMY Nominee Matt Berry (What We Do In The Shadows, IT Crowd, Toast of London), Maggie Steed (10 Percent, Paddington 2, Silent Witness), Tony Nominee Amanda Root (Baby Reindeer) & Laura Checkley (The Detectorists, King Gary, Military Wives).

A darkly comic yet sweet and hopeful film about love, family, vulnerability, making the most of the time you have left and saying the important things to the important people.
